SCOUT & CATALOGUE / ISS:05:11.09

I know studs are nothing new but I recently started using them in my collection of cushions - the Good Things Collection - and I am now responsible for sourcing them. I had originally picked up a few studs on a whim on a trip through Central Mexico but had never bought in the units required to actually supply a full seasonal line.

Whoops.

For the last week I have been frantically trying to find studs in Mexico to no avail. Google translate seems to be unclear when it comes to the word 'stud'. It keeps telling me the spanish equivalent is 'adornos' which loosely stands for ANYTHING you might adorn another material with. Thank god for my Spanish teacher who, even with a bitter cold, managed to find out that the spanish word for metal studs is 'estoperoles' and today my google search came up with one fabulous supplier based out of Guadalajara.

I am ecstatic.
