I come from a family that takes Christmas seriously and even though it is still November I am usually starting to get pretty excited right about now. This holiday season I seem to have forgotten that there are ANY upcoming festivities and I blame it on the lack of seasons.Years ago I asked a friend of mine in LA when the last time was that she and her husband had visited Vancouver. She replied, 'I don't know. The weather is so consistent here that the months and years just roll into one big time frame.'
I think I'm starting to understand.
