Whenever I dye fabrics there is a moment where the dye pigment floats and swirls in the water before it fully dissolves. I often wish I could capture it's fleeting beauty more permanently - something that Alberto Seveso has done flawlessly in these ink and water portraits.

A WEDDING

Last month the talented couple behind Fieldguided, Anabela and Geoff, got married and I was happy to be included in a small way by providing Anabela and her bridesmaids with our rose gold sequin Libro Clutch. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the wedding but Anabela was nice enough to send over some behind the scenes photos of the S&C clutches in action. I can't wait to see more photos of the day and hear about the details that made the day such a special event - a big congrats to the sweet couple...

The Los Angeles based boutique Myrtle just launched their beautiful F/W12 lookbook with the help of talented photographer Megan McIsaac. In amongst the great shots I spied a S&C Libro Grande Constellation Clutch!

OLD TO NEW

While I was looking for images to include in the F/W 12 lookbook I stumbled into a some amazing historic shots of Mexico. I started to think about how much, if any, the old beautiful buildings have changed over the last 100 years and so I dug around in my photo archives of past trips and tried to find current day comparisons. 
From top to bottom: The church in the main square of Mexico City, the ruins of Mitla outside of Oaxaca, the Palacio National in Mexico City and the main square (zocalo) in Mexico City.
