


Every Wednesday in Puerto Vallarta there is an Art Walk where local galleries throw open their doors, bring out the wine and invite people to enjoy their collections. Seeing that the art scene in PV is a little weak (lots of retirees turned 'fine artists') I've never bothered to do the walk but last Wednesday Tamar managed to drag me away from my sewing machine for enough time to give it a go. We had a great night, if not surrounded by good art, at least being a part of a happy, tipsy crowd shuffling from one beautiful gallery space to another. It reminded me how much I miss going to art openings in bigger cities...
