Some little goodies found at the local Buscerias and Sayulita markets. The top picture is a god's eye made by the Huichol Indians. It apparently has 2 different meanings - one to do with sacred locations in Mexico and the other with the first five years of a child's life. The second is a Mayan tablet with the sign of 'Zak' carved into it. The Mayan man (with amazing face tattoos) who sold it to me said that this particular sign relates to the month and date of my birth and signifies that I am able to 'realize solutions'. And the last is a little copper bracelet with lucky charms decorating it. Tamar bought us both a bracelet to bring us luck and happiness...
