I was a little slow out of the gate in covering this weeks Lunes Loves Etsy shop - Golden Ponies. I first stumbled onto them only a few weeks ago through Fieldguided (if you look at the blogs they've been featured on it's super impressive) and was thrilled to be introduced to a label of cute oxfords, sweet strappies and traditional satchels. I was even more excited to see that they are located in Guadalajara.
Guadalajara is the city that V was born in, the city that his dad still lives in and the city that I was able to purchase SO MANY of the fabrics and studs I needed to first produce Scout & Catalogue in Mexico. It holds a dear place in his heart and mine and we have had plans to take a few trips down there and work with local artisans to further the Scout & Catalogue brand. It's VERY exciting to see another label that has already managed to do this and it's inspired me to make sure we put Guadalajara back on our trip schedule for this winter.
