I might file this post under 'thrifting' but really my new (to me) metal shelf came to me via dumpster diving. On my way to class the other night I noticed this beauty on the side of the road and I snatched it up immediately (along with a low display tray for shows!). It is completely covered in rust (which I actually really like) and needs castors but so far it's really doing wonders for our totally bare upstairs hallway.
Just got back from a very successful gift party night at the cute Analogue Gallery - if you're ever in Toronto and dig rock and roll photography you should make a point to check the space out.
