Once again my textile dyes amaze me. These are pictures of a Tranquilo Scarf in process which I dyed with 'Pearl Grey', that would be the bright orange you are seeing, and 'Jet Black' which is the bright blue. Clearly my dyes have other colours on their minds and continue to be a crap shoot - not only never turning out to be the colour on their label but also never being the SAME colour from dye job to dye job. I may dye over this colour combo to create something a bit less contrasty but I took some shots because I thought it looked vaguely like outer space - 'textile space', if you will...
