When I first got down to Mexico I started sketching necklaces that were a combination of chain and leather mixed with a little crystal/stud/turquoise action. I am still sourcing every one of these materials (except for the leather) but I did manage to make one very simple example with an old chain bracelet (recycled after the clasp broke), some dusty rose suede and neon thread. Sturdy enough to be worn on any beach adventure this necklace reminds me of my first few months in Puerto Vallarta when everything felt new and exotic...
