We spent Saturday at a friends place in the small town of San Pancho about one hour north of Puerto Vallarta. They have an amazing place with a view of the ocean that will break your heart.San Pancho is a quiet pueblo right next to Sayulita and is refuge to many people that don't like the hustle and bustle and (ahem) tourists that swarm to Sayulita during the high season. If you're in the area its worth a visit, just to give yourself a more realistic view of what life in Mexico is really all about.
