Some thrifted goodies we picked up last week. The back pack has already sold but the 2 new fabrics (including the Arizona Arrow I posted yesterday) will be a great addition to the Scavenger Series. V found me a little metal stool (for short people reaching) and the most AMAZING 'Happy Birthday Toronto' board game from 1984. I found Vuarnet sunglasses (which will be posted in YARD SALE today), a water spray bottle that is EXACTLY the same as one that my mom had when I was growing up and a mount-to-the-wall elementary school pencil sharpener which I can't wait to put up in the studio.
We found some actual 'useful' stuff too - large pots for dyeing fabrics, a sturdy ironing board, coffee mugs - but the ultimate score was the old-school 'torpedo' toboggan! How Canadian are we?!
