Last night was Nuit Blanche in Toronto - an annual all night arts festival which started in Europe and has spread to many major cities since. Despite the cold (it was the first night since we've been here I truly wished for mittens) the streets were packed with happy Torontonians all excited to experience the weird and the wonderful that is Nuit Blanche. We spent most of our time on Queen West playing video games on buildings, ducking into galleries and eating poutine but we did manage to make it right downtown to experience Daniel Lanois' sound experiment which, for me, was the highlight of the night.

I only managed to take about 5 pictures before I sacrificed my camera for warm hands so if you're interested in much more impressive photos of the night click here.
