The last time my family went on vacation was last summer on Saltspring Island, an hour boat ride from Vancouver. We cooked and read and played cards and laughed and Heidi mentioned that her friend had just done an 'animal card' reading for her and that it was very interesting. We thought it would be a good 'cabin' activity for the four of us and so on this trip Heidi brought me the Medicine Card book complete with animal totem cards. Each animal represents a selection of strengths and weaknesses and can be read much like a Tarot card reading.Clearly taking our future forecasts with a grain of salt (mine especially since it seemed to have nothing to do with my life) we spent a lovely evening on my patio learning about where the universe is leading us.
