Sorry for being M.I.A. over the last week - my family descended and its been non-stop tour guiding since they arrived. We've hit up all the local beaches, puttered through the markets and gone on quite a few day trips to mountain and beach towns a few hours from Puerto Vallarta. And this morning my mom is leaving (while my dad and his girlfriend head to Sayulita for the rest of their stay) and I am so so sad to see her go. We have all bought little friendship bracelets to remind ourselves that while an entire country separates us, we are really just a phone call, email or thought away...
