Here in Mexico one of the most common fabrics is called Manta. Manta seems to be any type of cream coloured cotton varying from almost canvas like thickness to thin and gauzy like what is pictured above. With what is called 'Manta Cielo' (Manta Sky) I've tie dyed the fabric and then studded along its middle width to create the La Buena Vida Scarf.
