Two nights ago V and I stayed up until 6 am cutting leather in preparation for the upcoming One of a Kind show. Early yesterday morning (after a whole 2 hours of sleep) we piled into the car and drove an hour or two out of the city to deliver the materials to a seamstress that is helping me get pouch ready for such a high volume event. It was a foggy, rainy day but I still enjoyed getting out of the studio and into the world - even if it was only for a morning. On our way home we stopped in some thrift stores and I managed to find a Goodwill that has a used book section that is so great I might make trips out there just to help rebuild my collection.
When we got home the natural soap I ordered from the cute shop Morning Calm had arrived and I am beyond thrilled. I ordered the 'bag of bits' which are a collection of end pieces, allowing you to test her scents and find the ones you love the best. It's going to be a hard decision since verything smells amazing but I'm sure I'll be up to the challenge.
