Portland did not disappoint - from the gorgeous neighborhoods and multitude of vintage shops to the fantastic coffee, beer and delicious food. We spent most of our time on the east side of town managing to visit classics like Stumptown Coffee, Powell's Books, Hippo's Hardware, McMenamins Kennedy School and Schoolhouse Electric but also managing to visit some lesser known gems - Nationale, Sword + Fern, Palace and Smut. We spent a day biking around the south-east end of the city and fantasized about living in almost every house we passed...
